The History

1972 to 1976 - Trumau (A) entered into partnership with Alberndorf (A), Hainburg (D) and Vernouillet (F). The charter of this friendship was signed by the following mayors: Johann Wedl (Trumau), Friedrich Zottl (Alberndorf), Joseph Böhn (Hainburg) and Marcel Moulin (Vernouillet). 

1992 - On 28th October the assambly of the European Friendship Organisation Trumau (EFT) was formed. The founders voted Erich Frauenhofer as the first president.

1994 - In the general assembly on 24th February, Johann Wedl, Adolf Frauenhofer and August Klancnik were made honorary members.

2003 - In the general assembly on 29th January, Erich Frauenhofer was made a honorary member.

2003 - The members of the general assembly voted for Manfred Horvath as the president of the EFT.

2004 - The members of the general assembly voted for Markus Artmann as the president of the EFT.

2008 - The members of the general assembly voted for Erich Frauenhofer as the president of the EFT.
